Are you looking for a tropical rainforest getaway, a city hideaway, or an unforgettable mountain adventure for your upcoming vacation? If so, Puerto Rico might be the perfect place for you.

El Yunque Rainforest
El Yunque National Forest is a tropical rainforest in northeastern Puerto Rico with more than 240 plant species endemic.
Many believe its name comes from the Taino word Yuke, or “white earth,” a reference to the clouds that gather around the forest’s mountainous peak; others believe it derives from Yúcahu, the Taíno deity of fertility.
The ICACO TREEHOUSE Treehouse

Icaco Treehouse is a tiny gem hidden away in the mountains of Rio Grande, in the El Yunque Rainforest. The name comes from the first indigenous living here, meaning “God of the mountain”; who is said to protect us from natural disasters.
It is nettled by the side of a peaceful arterial stream of the Espíritu Santo river, on a 9-acre farm with private entrance. The friendly, calm Espíritu Santo river lays at the doorstep. With its natural pools, it’s the perfect place to chill with a beer and enjoy its shallow waters. Also, you’ll be able to walk through a trail where you’ll see many beautiful trees and birds.
Though comforts are not like home because there are no windows, the toilet and the kitchen are small and there’s not hot water in the shower, this treehouse provides you with endless enchanting views of nature.
Mother Nature
For a spectacular view of Mother Nature, with emerald-blue waters, crystal clear waterfalls, and misty mountains, Icaco Treehouse has it all.
Whether you’re relaxing in the hammock, laying on the balcony over the forest, or lounging with your friends, you will be treated to breathtaking views of the rainforest
This is a property with full contact with nature. So insects, lizards and non-poisonous snakes bound around. The river is easily hike-able, but enjoy it at your own risk and be aware of rising water levels.
You can experience the magic of tropical vegetation, fauna, and swirling rain on this wood treehouse in the heart of the El Yunque Rainforest in Puerto Rico. It is not uncommon to discover jungle critters, bats, birds, geckos, and coquis when enjoying the outdoors. When you enter and you walk barefoot on the wooden beams, you immediately sense a jungle vibe and a sense of serenity.
The rooster’s songs will wake you up and the frog’s symphony will calm you down. The alternation of dawn with daylight or the transition to evening with the lights of sunset, will mark the passing of the day while your biorhythm connects to the veins of nature.
Though comforts are not like home because there are no windows, the toilet and the kitchen are small and there’s not hot water in the shower, this treehouse provides you with endless enchanting views of nature.
